The hotels were all good, mostly great. We had a very nice breakfast everywhere and the picking up of luggage went smoothly. The hotel in Gouda even located a lost jacket and sent it on to Midjrecht. We found the staff all charming and came home with a very good impression of Holland. [...]

...the weather was not in our favour.  We tried biking on the second day but got absolutely soaked and the arctic wind chilled us to the bone, even with lots of layers on and raincoats!. However, the bikes were fantastic, and the cycle lanes we did go on were well sign posted and would have made for a great two days. We would love to come back and have another try ! The information package you gave us was really informative.Communication with your company was great, given that we were unsure of what we were booking, and being so far away from Europe....

...The Netherlands is a great country to bike through, especially for folks who do not like cycling on busy roads.  I regret not leaving one week earlier (ex.  end of April or first start of May) as we came at the very tale end of the tulips.  However, the weather was relatively good, everything was in bloom, the air was full of wonderful fragrants and bird calls, and everywhere you look, nature lovers are treated to some fine landscaping...

I felt the little map booklets worked really well and they were easier to carry and use while riding. The detailed town routes to the hotels were a useful extra, although I did cross the Erasmus Bridge looking for The Inntel Hotel but by asking in one of the cafe bars I was soon redirected back over the bridge. [...]
